Shipping Policy

At Artifex, we take care to ensure that every piece of custom artwork and design element arrives safely and on time. This policy explains how we handle shipping, delivery, and installation for our clients.
 

1. Shipping & Delivery

• All artwork and custom pieces are carefully packaged for safe transport.

• Shipping costs are calculated per project and are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise stated in the proposal.

• Delivery timelines are estimated at the time of order and may vary based on size, materials, fabrication process, or shipping carrier schedules.
   

2. Handling & Installation

• Installation may be included as part of the project scope.

• For large or complex pieces, Artifex can coordinate professional installation to ensure your artwork is displayed safely and correctly.

• Clients are responsible for providing access to the installation site and any permits required for installation.
   

3. Shipping Risk

• Risk of loss or damage passes to the client upon delivery of the artwork or design materials to the carrier, unless Artifex is handling delivery and installation directly.

• We strongly recommend clients insure high-value shipments for additional protection.
   

4. Damaged or Lost Shipments

• Clients should inspect shipments upon arrival.

• Any damage or loss must be reported to Artifex within 48 hours of delivery.

• Artifex will assist in filing claims with the carrier and arrange for repair or replacement if applicable.
   

5. International Shipping

• International shipping may incur additional fees, customs duties, or import taxes.

• Clients are responsible for complying with all customs regulations and covering any associated costs.

This policy ensures clarity for both Artifex and clients, protecting your custom work while setting expectations for delivery, installation, and care.
